Sarah is Caason Group’s Public Relations & Marketing Adviser. At Caason Group Sarah drives our stakeholder communications, particularly via social media platforms and through our websites.
With a corporate career spanning 18 years in consulting, research and IT and along with her work with start-ups; Sarah also provides commercialisation guidance to the companies we invest in.
Sarah was Marketing General Manager at Insync, a research and consulting firm, for over 10 years. She created the marketing function, managed the entire marketing team and was an integral member of the firm’s leadership team. She was charged with strategy creation along with management of campaigns and digital activities. A career highlight at Insync was the production of numerous research-based thought leadership pieces that dovetailed extensive marketing and PR activities.
Prior to Insync, Sarah was Corporate Communications Manager for the Australian arm of an Asia Pacific NASDAQ listed IT connectivity company for almost five years. With 150 staff in Australia, Sarah managed the entire Australian PR function and collaborated with the Singaporean PR/IR team. Locally, Sarah provided daily wise counsel to the Australian managing director as the company navigated the highly topical industry at the time. A career highlight included a 2006 PRIA Award: Commended for a thought leadership research piece.
Early in her career, Sarah was fortunate enough to be involved in the creation and management of an online community for the then emerging IT sector. This role led to her contribution to one of Australia’s first IT business incubators that was eventually acquired by Ernst & Young.
Sarah has a Bachelor of Business with majors in marketing, media and HR from Latrobe University. She also has a Certificate in Public Relations from RMIT University.
