FFLI achieves 50 tonnes of hemp seed

Food, Fibre & Land International (FFLI) successfully harvested Western Australia’s largest commercial crop of industrial hemp in May, achieving circa 50 tonnes of seed. Thirty-five tonnes of that seed output is now for sale.

Craig Astill, Caason group MD and CEO, said: “As a significant shareholder, we look forward to supporting FFLI through their exciting market growth and capital raise phases. We are also pleased to be supporting the development of the Australian industrial hemp industry with plans underway to grow industrial hemp on Aileron our NT cattle station on over 1 million acres.”

As detailed in FFLI’s shareholder update today, Caason Group’s specialist R&D management, facilitation and co-ordination have also allowed FFLI to secure R&D financing for the third year running.
