Aileron Pastoral Holdings (APH) has achieved in-conversion organic certification via Southern Cross Certified. The property has been recognised as working towards stringent organic standards, eliminating harmful and banned chemicals, synthetic inputs/fertilisers and genetically modified organisms. The certification process, a three year period, verifies care for APH soil and water. APH, an NT cattle station set on 4000sqkm, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Caason Group. The property’s next related milestone will be to become fully certified organic. APH anticipates the industrial hemp trials for 2020 to gain organic certification, given the remote location has never been used for cropping.
