In a bid to reduce the spread of COVID-19, Caason has entered a supply agreement with Safety-Med Products (SMP) to access USA manufactured medical products for sale and distribution within the USA. 

SMP is an American medical Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) supplier/distributor. SMP products include NIOSH approved N-95 face masks, full face shields and hand sanitiser.

Craig Astill, MD and CEO of Caason, said: “through our 30 years of international trade, we have broad networks and strong connections with medical supply manufacturers such as SMP. We are eager to help SMP rapidly distribute their medical supply equipment to help fight COVID and reduce the spread. Our initial engagement is for USA distribution. Once export restrictions on this US manufactured PPE are over, we will try to negotiate supply arrangements for Australia as well.”
