A milestone in Cambodia celebrated with the gift of a clean water well

A surprise gift dedicated to the founder of CBAVC; a charity supported by the Caason Group and other well wishers unveiled on 22/03/22.

The Cambodian Association for Vulnerable Children (CBAVC) is a program supported by the Caason Group for over a decade. The “Astills”, Managing Director of the Caason Group; Craig and his wife Jacqueline, warmly embraced the cause whilst traveling through the beautiful country of Cambodia and have been staunch supporters of the charity since.

They have provided much needed assistance and valuable resources to the founder of CBAVC; Van San, in his tireless efforts to uplift and better the lives of countless children impacted by the civil war, economic hardships and more recently the global pandemic. Having provided funding in the past for University scholarships, local schools, dwellings, water wells, laptops and transportation, the Caason Group along with a raft of other international benefactors and well wishers surprised the founder of CBAVC; Van San, by dedicating a clean water well in his honour.

The facility marked a milestone by being the 450th water well constructed by this program to provide clean drinking water, water for sanitation and agricultural needs in the area. “Having two young children of our own, we are humbled by the passion and drive that Van San has tirelessly displayed to try and make this world a better place for vulnerable children in Cambodia” said Mr.Craig Astill.
