Caason has signed an MOA with ECS Botanics (ASX: ECS), a Tasmanian industrial hemp seed grower and innovative food brand.

Craig Astill, Caason MD and CEO said: “We have a passion for supporting innovation and sustainability and there’s an obvious alignment with ECS Botanics. We’re looking forward to collaborating on R&D and market development given our interest in trialling hemp next year on Aileron Station, our 4000sqkm NT property.”

Caason’s interest in industrial hemp extends to FFLI (a successful grower in WA) where it has a significant shareholding.

Bringing industry parties together is important for this emerging sector and to ensure the successful trial at Aileron Station.
